Reality Bites

Hi Lovelies!

You know that I love "Keeping up with Kardashians". It is one of my guilty pleasures. But there are some things about the show that really ruffle my tail feathers. They tend to get upset with the paparazzi for following them where ever they go. I really think that this is their fault for living such a public life. Here is an example of what I am talking about:

Yesterday, Kim Kardashian blamed the paparazzi for putting both her and the life of her unborn baby in danger in several twitter and other social media posts. However, is it fair fair for the reality star to be upset with paparazzi when she leads such a public life?

She tweeted on Thursday:  " I wouldn't let the paps get a pic of me today and they threatened my life and said if I continue to block shots they will make my world dangerous  to live in! How dare they threaten my life and my unborn child! This has gotten out of control!" She claimed that photographers blocked her way so that she couldn't drive, which scared her.

As a fellow mom, I feel her safety should in fact come first. The paparazzi can be aggressive to the point of hurting someone just to get the "money shot".  However, it is hard for me to feel sorry for her when she obviously loves the spotlight. I feel that if she did not want photos taken of her bump then she should stay of of the limelight (Shania Twain and Pamela Anderson did it) and just enjoy the last few of her pregnancy and to just be an average mom

Stress is bad for pregnancy and she has has her share of it. I would encourage her to relax and let her baby daddy take care of her, and to not let the paparazzi get the best of her.

Do you think she should be mad at the paparazzi for doing this to her?

Confess Sessh

Hi Lovelies!

Since I haven't blogged in a couple of days due to playing catch up in my class, I thought I would give my lovely readers a confession post. Enjoy!!!

I confess that I watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I love the show and I just can't help myself.

I confess that I'm still afraid of the closet monster, which means the closets doors in the bedrooms have to be closed or I can't sleep.

I confess that I'm an 80s girl and I'm proud of it.

I confess that one of my pet peeve's is rude people. It doesn't take that much to hold open a door for someone does it? And to say thank you.

I confess that I automatic flushing toliets used to freak me out. Now, it just irks me when there aren't any automatic flushing toilets in the restrooms.

I confess that I love peanut butter and chocolate and I want to try the chocolate peanut butter by Jif. I looks yummy!!!

I confess that I have yet to watch the Bachelor or the Bachelorette shows. They just don't appeal to me at all.

So, what are you confessing today?

Angels in blue scrubs

While Angelina was in the hospital last week, we had some awesome nurses tending to her. They were so patient and really helped me out quite a bit with her. Whenever Paul or I would push the call button, one of the nurses were in our room within seconds. One of the nurses would always bring Angelina a Popsicle and encourage her to eat it (which she did a couple of times) and one of them even brought her some ice chips when she asked for them.

They even brought her this car to play with, which she loved.

Whenever we were out in the hallway with it she would say "I hope the nurses like my car" or " I just have to show them my car".  She charmed every single one them!!!

So here is to the nurses. Thank you so much for all that you do. You are appreciated!!! You truly are Angels in blue scrubs.

All three of us are sick. Well, actually Angelina and Paul are just now getting over it. I just came down with it this morning. So, I apologize in advance if I don't post for the next few days. I will try to schedule some posts tomorrow.

Hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow!!!

Good night Lovelies!!
