Happy Homemaker Monday

Hi Lovelies! 

It's Monday again. Why does it seem to take forever for Friday to finally here only to have Monday crash into us so darn quickly? I have so much to do today.... general housework, laundry, working on my paper and finally studying for my final. So much to do and not enough hours in the day to get them done in.

Anyway, I'm linking up with Sandy from Dairy of a Stay at Home Mom for Happy Homemaker Monday. 

The weather:

The high is supposed to be 38 so I think we are staying in again, but by Thursday it will be in the 60s for a couple of days before turning cold again.

Right now I am:

I'm avoiding working on my paper which is due on Wednesday by watching Friends reruns and working on posts. 

Thinking:

That I really need to work on my paper and study for my final. 

On my reading pile:

Right now I am reading Beaches ( I love the movie!) and I hope to read Echos of Titanic next.

On my TV:

I'm about to start the PBS series "Downton Abbey" on Netflix.

 

On the menu this week:

Monday- Leftovers (refried beans (hubby) and chilli for me)

Tuesday- Chicken fried steak, mashed patatoes, corn

Wednesday- Pasta bake (tomato for me and the Little, mushroom for hubby) and peas

Thursday- Grilled chicken with salad

Friday- Mexican cornbread and salad

Saturday- Roast, baked potatoes, carrots and salad

Sunday- refried beans and chilli with Fritos

On my to do list:

Laundry

Vacuum

Clean the bathrooms

Clean the bedrooms

What I am creating:

I'm still working on the blankets and bracelets

 Homemaking Tips:

I cannot think of any right now!

Looking around the house:

The living room is clean and the breakfast dishes are in the sink waiting to be washed.
