The Sickies Revisted

Hi Lovelies!! 

I hope everyone had a great day! I have been up since 5:30am because Baby girl is sick :( I just hate seeing her this way. It all started Sunday night. She wanted to sleep with Momma and Daddy so we let her and early the next morning she woke up crying saying that her throat hurt. Luckily, she was not running a fever at this time. We decided to wait and see how she was feeling on Monday. She seemed okay, she was full energy and giggly and just having fun. Later that evening she wanted to sleep with us again, and again we let her. She woke up crying and saying that her throat hurt. The coughing started on Tuesday as did the congestion. Her pediatrician's office was closed for New Years Day so we had to wait until today to take her. 

So this afternoon we took her to the doctor where we found out the she does not have strep, but she does definitely have congestion and both of her ears are red. She was even running a low grade fever (100), so after the appointment we had to buy some Motrin and an hour later her fever was gone and has not come back as of right now. She was perscribed amoxcillian, Before bed she was a bundle of energy and after being up since 5:30am she finally went to sleep at 8pm, which means she was awake for over 12 hours. 

Hopefully she will be better tomorrow!!
