Ways to enjoy drinking water

I drink water. I drink lots of water. All I drink is water (sometimes a throw in some juice or kool-aid) and I just get tired of it sometimes.  Sometimes it's not enjoyable, however I have come up with a few strategies to make myself enjoy drinking water.

I think part of the strategy should include drinking water from a cute, fun tumbler

Another strategy could be drinking water from this pretty glass container.

I would love to get this cute water dispenser.
I know that if I were to buy this particular water dispenser and fill it with water and fresh lemon and lime slices I know I would enjoy drinking water more.

Another strategy could also be to use the fun water drops.

These fun water drops should help me to enjoy drinking water as well. Who wouldn't want to drink colorful pretty water?

So, my question for you is.......do you like to drink plain water all the time? How do you get yourself to drink more water too?

Jumbled thoughts

I have some many thoughts in my head and no one to talk to about them. My husband refuses to talk to me so I am forced to write about them here.

1. My husband tells me on a daily basis that I am a bad and neglectful mother. If someone tells you the same thing for a long period of time then you begin to believe what is being said about you. I'm beginning to think that he is right. He tells me that I wishes he never would have had Angelina with me and that he should have had her with someone else who is better than me. He also had told me that a regrets having her with me. He's right, I don't deserve her as my daughter and maybe should would be better off with me in her life. Despite what my husband might have said of out anger, I know I'm a good mother to Angelina. I know I deserve to be her mother, I was meant to be her mother. She is the light of my life and I would walk through fire for her. (My husband has since apologized for everything that he said and has admitted that he was wrong and that he should not have said those things).

2.  I don't like how I look. I'm 17 pounds away from weighing 200lbs and I'm fat and ugly. I'm embarrassed to go out in public looking the way that I do. I just don't know what to do. I have since joined Weight Watchers and I know that I will be able to lose the weight.

3. I joined my first bible study.

4. I'm actually enjoying the online class that I am taking this semester at GCU.

These are just some of the jumbled thoughts that have been floating around in my head.

Show and Tell: AFew of my Favorite Things

I saw this on another blog, however, it is supposed to be done in a vlog format. I decided to change it up a bti (I'm to chicken to do a vlog) and write it as a blog post instead complete with pictures. Here are the questions that I have decided to anwers:

1). A piece of jewelry you wear every day
This is not my actual wedding ring, but it is very similar to the one that I have!! I wear my wedding rings every day. I haven't taken them since the day the Husband gave them to me (3 years ago this December).

2). Your favorite book you are currently reading
I love the Dresdon Dolls series by V.C. Andrews. I finished the first book about a month ago and now I'm reading the second book.

3). Your favorite hair product of all time
I love this stuff!!! It's the only thing that will get all of the tangles out of my hair. I use it about 3 times a week to keep the tangles at bay and a plus is that it makes my hair feel so soft.

4). Your favorite food in your pantry

I love this peanut butter and I keep at least two jars in my pantry at all times. It makes awesome peanut butter cookies too!

5). Your favorite pair of shoes
I love love love these Birkenstock sandals! I do alot of walking in the summer and these just feel so comfortable!
Well, there you have it, my five favorite things!! What are you favorites things?

Things I'm loving: Summer edition

There many things that I love about summertime. Here are just a few of my favorites!!

1. Farmer's Markets

I love the taste of fresh fruits and veggies during the summer!
We have a framer's marker in our that I cannot wait to visit.

2. Ice cold lemonade

I love ice cold lemonade on a hot day! It tastes so refreshing.

3. Cook outs

I love having friends and family over for grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. I cannot wait to try out a new hamburger recipe that I recently found. I will share the recipe in a later post.

4. Catching fireflies

I cannot wait to introduce my little girl to my favorite past time! She's going to love it.

5. Summer reading

Just reading reading this one and had to return it to the library. I plan to check out again very soon. I'm liking the book, a bit disturbing due to the nature of the topic.

I  love all things Titanic and I cannot wait to read this book.

I have read many comments about this book on message boards and blogs. I'm intrigued by the comments, and cannot wait to read this little gem.

What do you love about summertime?

Our first road trip

We took our first road trip this past Friday to Wichita Falls, TX to see the dinosaurs. We have recently discovered that Angelina loves dinosaurs. She loves to any cartoon with dinosaurs (i.e. dinosaur train) every day. So I heard about this exhibit and we decided on a whim to take her. I'll let the pictures tell most of the story.

 Discover the Dinosaurs

We saw this scary creature first!

Then we saw this one. I think this moved and roared, which Angelina loved!

Angelina actually touched this little guy.

Then we saw this dinosaur footprint.

Before we left we let her "ride" on of the smaller dinosaurs. I think it's safe to that she had a good time.

After the dino exhibit we decided to go to Toys R Us and let Angelina look around and play with some of the toys, oh and Daddy too (since he loves this store). We spent over two hours there and had the best times playing with toys. We all had so much fun on this last minute trip and I hope we can do it again soon!! I was proud of Angelina, she did so well in the car on the way up there, and only had one melt down (in Toys R Us because she was playing with one of those mechanical cars and we literally had to pry away from it. Girlfriend has a strong grip too!), and she slept most of the way back.

I see many more road trips in our future!!
