Anyway, it's time for Friday Letters. So, here we go:

Dear Angelina:

Hi Lovelies!!

I'm so sorry that you burned your hand. It was my fault and I shouldn't have put the cookie sheet on the counter where you could reach it.

Dear Blog:

I'm sorry I have neglected you this week. I promise not to neglete you like that again.

Dear Kitchen:

You are my favorite room in the house. I promise to clean you tomorrow.

Dear Weather:

You have been really nice lately, but please no storms tomorrow. Please be nice tomorrow.

Dear Tori Spelling:

Please leave that a**hole of a husband. You don't deserve to be treated that way, you deserve much better.

What I'm reading (April)

Last month I had great plans to read a few books, but that plan fell through because of the amount of reading and homework I had with my class. So, this month I plan to at least read one book, for now. We'll see how it goes and maybe, just maybe, I can sneak in one or two more books. Only time will tell.

Anyway, here is what's on my nightstand (all images and summaries are taken from Goodreads).

The Storyteller
Jodi Picoult

Sage Singer befriends an old man who's particularly beloved in her community. Josef Weber is everyone's favorite retired teacher and Little League coach. They strike up a friendship at the bakery where Sage works. One day he asks Sage for a favor: to kill him. Shocked, Sage refuses…and then he confesses his darkest secret - he deserves to die, because he was a Nazi SS guard. Complicating the matter? Sage's grandmother is a Holocaust survivor.

What do you do when evil lives next door? Can someone who's committed a truly heinous act ever atone for it with subsequent good behavior? Should you offer forgiveness to someone if you aren't the party who was wronged? And most of all - if Sage even considers his request - is it murder, or justice?

Dr. Sleep
Stephen King

Stephen King returns to the characters and territory of one of his most popular novels ever, The Shining, in this instantly riveting novel about the now middle-aged Dan Torrance (the boy protagonist of The Shining) and the very special twelve-year-old girl he must save from a tribe of murderous paranormals.

On highways across America, a tribe of people called The True Knot travel in search of sustenance. They look harmless—mostly old, lots of polyester, and married to their RVs. But as Dan Torrance knows, and spunky twelve-year-old Abra Stone learns, The True Knot are quasi-immortal, living off the “steam” that children with the “shining” produce when they are slowly tortured to death.

Haunted by the inhabitants of the Overlook Hotel where he spent one horrific childhood year, Dan has been drifting for decades, desperate to shed his father’s legacy of despair, alcoholism, and violence. Finally, he settles in a New Hampshire town, an AA community that sustains him, and a job at a nursing home where his remnant “shining” power provides the crucial final comfort to the dying. Aided by a prescient cat, he becomes “Doctor Sleep.”

Then Dan meets the evanescent Abra Stone, and it is her spectacular gift, the brightest shining ever seen, that reignites Dan’s own demons and summons him to a battle for Abra’s soul and survival. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of devoted readers of The Shining and satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.

Here's a list of the books that I would like to read:

Gone Girl
Gillian Flynn

On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife’s head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media—as well as Amy’s fiercely doting parents—the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he’s definitely bitter—but is he really a killer?

Stir of Echos
Richard Matheson

Tom Wallace lived an ordinary life, until a chance event awakened psychic abilities he never knew he possessed. Now he's hearing the private thoughts of the people around him-and learning shocking secrets he never wanted to know. But as Tom's existence becomes a waking nightmare, even greater jolts are in store as he becomes the unwilling recipient of a compelling message from beyond the grave!
This eerie ghost story, by award-winning author of "Hell House" and "I Am Legend," inspired the acclaimed 1999 film starring Kevin Bacon.

So, that the list of what I am reading and what I want to read. What are you reading this month?

Easy Peasy Heart Shaped Paper Clips

 Hi Lovelies!!

I found the cutest little project to make my Erin Condren Life Planner look pretty. I found the tutorial for these little darlings at: http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/2009/02/heart-shaped-paper-clips.html

This little project is so ridiculously easy, all you do is bend regular paper clips into little hearts. These are jumbo clips that I picked up at Target for about $1.50.

You could use them to mark pages in your books or your Erin Condren Life Planners. You can even use them to leave little loves notes to your significant other. Really, there are endless possibilities.

Take the paper clip and bend it at midpoint. That's it. So easy!!!

I need self cleaning clothes, a self cleaning house,  and music that makes me want to dance.

I need flowers that bloom all year around and sand between my toes.

I need a fuss free beauty routine and linen that feels soft on my skin.

I need some "me" time, an endless bookshelf, and someone who understands why I need some "me" time.

I need to hear I love you in the mornings, I miss you in the afternoons, and lots of cuddles in the evenings (from both the Mister and the Little).

I need movie nights with the Mister for relaxing.

What do you need?

What I'm reading and I want to read

Hi Lovelies!

For as long as I can remember, I have been an avid reader. I blame my mom for this one. LOL!!! She was always reading to my brother and I when we were little. I think this was the start of my love affair with books.

I remember going to the library in the 3rd grade and the libririan at the time (Mr. Titus), introduced me to my first chapter books. The little house books.

And I have loved them ever since. From time to time I will check them out from my local library when I need a break from reading psychology articles.

I'm one those people who can bounce from book to book.  So, here are just a few books that I am
reading or ones that I would like to read.

Books that I am reading (just noticed that I didn't update my kindle app on my computer):

Beaches

Terms of Endearment

Forever

These are the books that I would like to read:

Dr. Sleep

Echos of Titanic

So, that's my list.

What are you reading?

Dear Paul, thank you for loving me and accepting all of my flaws. I love you!

Dear Darling Daughter, I love you! You are the light of my life and the joy in my heart.

Dear House, I wish you would clean yourself. That's it.

Dear "How I Met Your Mother" season finale, I know quite a few people didn't like you, but I did! I think the writers did a great job. I totally knew that Ted and Robin would finally get together.

Have a great weekend!
