30 years ago........

Thirty years two of my favorite movies premired at the theater. I never did get to see them at the theater, but I waited on pins and needles for them to come out on video (VHS, yes I just dated myself!). I was so excited and watched them over and over and over again. I still watch them! I can quotes lines from both movies and I just love all of the characters in both movies.

I guess everyone would like the two movies that I am talking about, right? Drum roll, please.........

Around here lately.......

Hi Lovelies!!!

Whoa....it's been a little while, huh? Things have been good, just very busy. Here's a breakdown of our week.

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day by spending time together, playing outside, and good food. I also finished one class and then started another class.

Then, we got down to business with cleaning the house for the Little's birthday party and buying last minute food and decorations for the rest of the week. We cleaned every nook and cranny in the house, cleaned the front and back yards, hosed down the driveway.

We ordered the birthday cake which came put great, it was better than I expected.

As you can see we had a Doc McStuffins birthday party. The Little loved it and had so much fun.

We spent lots of time outside and just spending time with each other. Oh and we finally finished watching Iron Man 3. Uh, yeah, we are a bit behind in our moving watching.

I have been watching "How I Met Your Mother", and so far Season 2 Episode 9 is my favorite!

Although, it has been busy, we have had a lot of fun. I plan to get back into the groove of posting again this week.

Have a great night!!!

This week's questions:

1. How much time do you spend on Social Media a day?…be honest

4. Do you eat fast food? If so whats your favorite?

Not very often, but when we do it's Chick fil a!

5. What is the most random thing someone would find in your purse?

I would have to say expired Target coupons. I just throw them in my purse and forget about them.

6. What is the weirdest TV show you watch?

I love to watch Extreme Couponing. This show is so addictive!!

 Next week's questions:

1. What are the top 3 things you can't go a day without doing?
2. What are 3 things that scare you the most?
3. What are 3 places you want to see before you kick the bucket?
4. What are 3 movies you will always love?

Converstions with The Little

Hi Lovelies!

Here is a converation that Little and I had earlier today.

A: You're my best mom. I Love you!
Me: You're my best little girl. I love you too.
A: I'm a big girl not a little girl Mom!! (with hands on her hips)

A: Mom, you're short, but I love all of you anyway.
Me: I love you too (laughing).

Love these conversations that we have. She is a sweet little girl, who is fiercely independent and will tell you and she has such a zest for life. We love her so much!

Have a nice evening!

Hi Lovelies!

Did anyone wake up late this morning? I forgot to set the clocks foward last night and I woke up this morning (530am, which was really 630am) and actually set the clock back one hour. Yeah! I was confused most of the morning because of that.

Even though we loose an hour of sleep, the days are longer and that means we are just one step closer to summer!!! Yeah!!!!

I wanted to link up with Sandy for Happy Homemaker Monday. So, sit back, relax, grab a cup of your favorite morning beverage and link up! Have fun!

Sunday Social

Hi Lovelies!! I'm back!!! I'm linking up with Neely for Sunday Social.

Here are this week's questions:

I'm going to warn you right now.....my junior high and high schools were pretty boring!!

1. Biggest Middle school fashion mistake.

I would have say the stitrrup pants. They were popular at the time, but I will never wear them again.

2. Who were your best friends in hs? Pics?

Brandy and LaDonna. Sadly no pics :(

3. What was a typical weekend like for you in hs?

Okay, let's see if I can remember........ when my parents would let me I would stay the night with one or both of the above girls and this was when I could be a kid. We would go see a movie, listen to music or just walk around town (small town living).

4. Did you have any boyfriends/girlfriends? Tell us about that.

No boyfriends. Like I said I was pretty boring, plus if you live in a small town and both of your parents are cops, then you weren't invited to any of the parties and boyfriends just didn't exist for you.

5. Did you have any secret codes with your friends? Spill your secrets!

No secret codes, but I do remember the SlamBooks that were passed around between classes and at lunch.

6. If you could relive one day/moment/experience from middle school or high school, what would it be?

My senior prom so I could ask my crush to be my date (he was a freshman in college by then)..... and I just happen to me married to him :)

Have a great Sunday!!!

~Angie
