Tuesday Celeb Dish

Celeb dish that is!!! Let's get to it.

1. Janelle Evans from Teen Mom 2. Will this girl ever learn? She is in jail for the 398765 time. What is wrong with the girl?

2.Nick and Vanessa Lachey are expecting a baby!!! I'm so happy for them! I have always felt the Vanessa was a bit fit for him than Jessica Simpson.

3.Snooki is PREGNANT?!? And she is engaged too!! I just cannot imagine this woman being a mom. After seeing bits and pieces of Jersey Shore it just makes me question what type of mom she will acutally be.

4. Jeniffer Garner gave birth to a baby boy!!!! The name Samuel Garner Affleck. So happy for them!

Well, there it is Lovies, my Tuesday Celeb Dish. Hope you enjoy it!!!

Our Love Story

I saw this circulating in blogland and planned to have posted before Valentine's Day, but life got in the way (a husband, a toddler, and class).  So hear it is: Our Love Story as told by ME!!!! Enjoy!

1. How long have you and your significant other been together?

This March Paul and I will have been together for 19 years, but we have only been married for 2 of those years.

2. How did you meet? {What’s your “love” story?}

We have actually known each other since grade school. When our classes would have gym together we would always play dodge ball and he would always throw the ball at me head. We did not start talking until after I had graduated and we started taking a class (Intro to Criminal Justice) at the same college. This happened in January 1993. We started talking and we found out we had a lot in common and we started dating  that March. As they say the rest is history!!

3. If married, how long have you been married?

We have been married for 2 years, 1 month, and 3 weeks. But we have been together for 19 total years.

4. If you are married, where did you get married? Big or small wedding?

We actually got married at the Courthouse. It was just three of us (me, hubby, and our baby). I was 6 months pregnant at the time.

5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Do share!

He calls me Honey and I call him Honey.

6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.

He's funny. He has the biggest heart. And he love me and my daughter more than anything on this earth.

7. Tell us how he proposed?

The day he proposed was perfect. He took me to our favorite place ( a lake on the Wild Life Refuge) and proposed to be at sunset. He did not have a ring, but I did have a set of ring candy molds that we gave to me. You gotta love his sense of humor. I don't think I let him finish the sentence, because as soon as got down on one knee I said YES!!!! I had waited for 16 years for this to happen so I was a little bit excited!!

8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals?

For the last two years he has given me and our daughter a teddy bear for Valentine's Day.

9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?

I'm a homebody so I would rather just stay in and sit on the couch and watch a movie.

10. Tell us one thing you’d like to do with your significant other one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?

We love to travel to London.

11. Tell us what you did on Valentine’s Day.

He had a long work day, so I made a special dinner and the three of us ate together and later me and hubby watched a movie. It was perfect.

12. Did you asking for anything this Valentine’s day?

My birthday is too close to Valentine's day so we just combine the two and I get one present on birthday.

13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love.

Communicate!! Communication is the key to a string relationship that is full of love.

14. Show us a picture of what love means to you.

Will have to post this later.

The Sickies

The sickies have invaded our house once again. This time it's baby girl who is sick. We took her to her pedi yesterday and we found out the she has a cold, an ear infection, and a sore throat. She was given an antibiotic and hopefully she will start to feel better soon.We think she caught this cold at the church nursery this past Sunday. There two other little girls, they both sneezed on or near A and then when they were given a snack all three dove into the same snack ( a cereal bar). Before I could react, they had eaten the entire bar.

An interesting note: All three of the girls (Angelina, Amelia, and Alexis) were born just weeks after each other (all three were due in April (Angelina was born in March) and three of their names start with the letter A. I think that's pretty neat.

On the upside, she weighs 25lbs 2oz and is 35 inches tall!!! Pretty soon she will be taller than her Momma.

2011- A year in review

This past year has been one of the greatest years of my life. 2010 was awesome, because we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into our little family

January- Angelina turned 10 months old this month!!! Her walking has gotten much better and she has also tried running, which makes this Momma very nervous!!! She still has a very good appetite and is drinking 4 8 oz bottles of formula plus she is eating three meals a day.

This month we also began an aggressive house search.

February- Angelina turned 11 months old this month and is still doing the same as last month. I started planning her first birthday and we celebrated my 38th birthday and Valentines day for the first time as a family of three.

March- Angelina turned a year old this month!!!!We had two birthday parties this month!!! One was with friends at the university that the Hubby works at and the other was for family. Both themes were Winnie the Pooh and Friends and Elmo even paid a visit (in balloon form). The birthday girl had a blast at both parties.

April- Angelina turned 13 months old this month and we celebrated her second Easter. We took her to the Easter service and church and she heard the resurrection story for the first time. We spent the holiday with the grandparents and had a blast "hunting"   Easter eggs with her.

May- Angelina turned 14 months old this month and we celebrated my second Mother's day. The hubby bought me a special Mother's day cake. We used this day to just relax as a family of 3 and just enjoyed the day and the weather.

June: This is the month when Angelina turned 15 months old, and we celebrated the hubby's second Father's day. We also found a house that we really feel in love with. We were about t put an offer in on another house, but Paul decided to look on more time online, and he found that we both liked. We called the next day to look at it, and then two days later looked at it again and the next day put in an offer. Our offer was accepted the next day and we closed on it at the end of the month. This was an exciting month for us!!!!!!

July- We closed on our house at the end of last month. We also had a nice mini vacation for the 4th of July and after coming back it was time to pack and move into the new house. It was an exciting and busy month. Angelina turned 16 months old this month.

August- Not much happened this month, we just adjusted to the new house and our new routine with Angelina who turned 17 months old this month. Her routine changed a little bit, she went from two naps a day to just one nap a day.

September- Not much happened this month. Just enjoying being  a family of 3 and enjoying our time together. Angelina turned 18 months old this month.

October: This month Angelina turned 19 months old!!! This was the month where Angelina caught her first stomach bug and she also had her first ER trip. I had the same stomach bug, which she caught from me, Paul even caught the same bug, his parents came to visit and they both caught the bug too!!! I think overall, it took us at least two weeks to get healthy again. This was also the month when Angelina stopped her night time bottle (on her own).

November: This was a busy month for us!!! Not only did Angelina turn 20 months old this month, but the hubby celebrated the big 4-0!!!! We had three celebrations for him, the first was with friends, the second was just the three of us, and the third was with his family. I'd day he had a great birthday. I also hosted Thanksgiving for the first time. And I must say this it was a success.

December: Angelina turned 21 months old this month. I cannot believe she is almost two already!!! Where did the time go? She is walking, running, jumping, talking, twirling, singing, and screaming. She is such a delight, she is the light of my life and I love her with all of my heart. We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We kind of went a bit over board with the gifts for Angelina, but oh well. She loved everything that Santa brought her.

All in all, 2011 was a great year and I hope that 2012 will be an even greater year!!!!

Resolustions for 2012

I usually don't pick my resolutions, much less stick them. So, I thought that this year I would write them down and maybe them I can actually accomplish each and every one. So, here it goes:

My New Year's Resolutions for 2012:

Resolution #1: To be a better wife to my wonderful husband. I will appreciate him more, and will let him know that he means the world to me. He makes it possible for me to be a SAHM to my beautiful baby girl.

Resolution #2: To be better with money and to start couponing. It's time to start looking at websites and blogs for this one.

Resolution #3: To lose weight. This is always on my list and I hope to stick to it this time. My goals is to lose at least 45 pounds. And, I plan to start the Special K Challenge on January 4th.

Resolution #4: To stop sweating the small stuff and to think in terms of the big picture. I tend to worry about running errands and never worry about the big stuff, like a water filter system to the house, etc.

Resolution #5:  To blog more often. My goal is to blog at least once a day and to make it interesting as well.

Resolution #6: To finally finish my Master's degree in Psychology. I'm in the process of transferring universities so let's hope this works out.

Well, there are my New Year's resolutions. Hopefully I will stick to them this time!! Happy New Year everyone!!!
