Ways to Better Your Marriage in 2015

Hi Lovelies!

Paul and I have been married for 5 years (although we have been together for 21 years). so we aren't newlyweds anymore. We have a great marriage, that is full laughter, happiness, and love. However, I know there are ways to make it better than it already is. So, I have decided that I would share ways in which Paul and I can better are marriage and actually follow through because we all want a better marriage.

Five Ways to Better Your Marriage

1. Date your husband.

It's so easy to get up with our daily lives, being parents, taking classes, eat dinner, and go to bed. Find a reliable babysitter and go to dinner and movie. Spend time with each other, talk about current events, and just spend time together, even if it's an at home date night. Just be together!!!

2. Eat dinner together at the dinner table.

This is something that we need to work on (even as a family). Lately we have been eating in the living room in front of the TV, and this is not good at all. Sit at the table, talk about your day and just be together.

3. Go to church together.

We really need to work on this, especially as a family. Going to church strengthens your relationship. This is the time to worship with each other and with God.

4. Pray together.

I believe prayer is incredibly powerful  and has so much value on marriage. This can be challengeing at first but it is well worth it!!

5. Go on an adventure together.

This is something that we can do together and as a family. Just takes a trip to the mountains, or find a babysitter and stay in a local hotel, something that you can do just the two of you.

"Be completely humble and gentle; Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace."
 Ephesians 4:2-3

Hugs and Kisses,
