Scary Movie Monday (should have been Saturday)

Hi Lovelies!

Sorry this post was not written on Saturday! We had a relaxing weekend and I just wanted to spend some quality time with my family, watching movies, playing outside, and decorating pumpkins. Anyway, I'm going to talk about one of very favorite scary movies. I know some people will not be familiar with this movie, mainly because it came out in the early 80s, but it is one of my faves and I watch it every Halloween.

I'm a sucker for a good scary movie and I think this one fits the bill. And it also introduced me to one of my celebrity crushes.... Johnny Depp.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Teenagers in a small town are dropping like flies, apparently in the grip of mass hysteria causing their suicides. A cop's daughter (Heather Langenkamp) traces the cause to child molester Fred Krueger (Robert Englund), who was burned alive by angry parents many years before. Krueger has now come back in the dreams of his killers' children, claiming their lives as his revenge.

In my opinion, this movie was imaginative with an original plot line, and a horrifying villan, all the while turning nightmares into a reality. When I first saw this movie I think watched it with pillow ofver my through most of it, but I do enjoy being scared, so this movies was right up my alley. Also, because of this movies I didn't take a bath (I took showers) for a very long time!!!

Now I will leave you with a scene from the movie:

Here's one more scene:

Happy Halloween Lovelies! And remember "whatever you do. DON'T. FALL. ASLEEP.
