Happy Homemaker Monday

Hi Lovlies!

We have had a great and relaxing weekend. We spent most it it outside (especially yesterday) and hopefully we can continue to spend time outside this week.  As you know it's Monday, and that means it's time for Happy Homemaker Monday. So grab your drink of choice and enjoy!

The weather:

The weather is supposed to be warmer this week with some awesome rain chances. Lord knows we need the rain!!!

Right now I am:
I'm watching season 2 of Party of Five (great show and I highly recommend it)

Thinking:

How in the world does my house get so messy and cluttered when all I have is a husband and one kid. Every single room is  a mess and in need of some serious loving.

On my reading pile:
I am still  reading Beaches. So I'm enjoying it.

 Beaches

I have added this book as well. In fact I just started it today and so far it is a page turner.

On my TV:

I'm taking a break from  "Downton Abbey"(I really like it)  and I'm watching season 2 of Party of Five

On the menu this week:

Monday- Pizza, breadsticks, and salad
Tuesday- Smothered steak, mashed potatoes, corn, and rolls
Wednesday- Hamburgers and fries
Thursday- Chicken stir fry and salad
Friday-  Pasta bakes (red sauce and white sauce), garlic bread, salad
Saturday- Roast, au gratin potaotes, green beans, and cheddar biscuits
Sunday- Beans and cornbread

On my to do list:
Laundry
Vacuum
Clean the bathrooms
Clean the bedrooms
Clean the kitchen

What I am creating:

Nothing at the moment. I'm waiting on some yarn and material that I ordered for some new projects that I plan to start on very soon.

Homemaking Tips:

I cannot think of any right now!

Looking around the house:
My house needs some TLC. Every room is messy and cluttered. There are dishes in the sink and on the counter. It's just a mess.

 From the Camera:

On my prayer list:
My husband as he begins his studies for his Master's Degree in Computer Science

Bible verse/devotional:

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. (ESV)
 Psalm 128:3

  2. LOL you know what? Every Monday my house is a shambles, just because hubby is home and I don't know...I don't get it, but yes, after the weekend it seems the house fell apart.

    Love the chicken picture :)

Hope you're having a good week so far.
